Andriy Kosylo

Mr. Kosylo’s is a founding partner of Kosylo & Partners. His primary focus is commercial law, foreign investments, tax, mergers and acquisitions.
In 2014, Mr. Kosylo was appointed as an Advisor to the European Union program supporting judicial reforms in the Republic of Uzbekistan. He published numerous reports on international law and Central Asian countries commissioned by the Ministry of Justice in Germany and the Ministry of Justice in France.
Mr. Kosylo started his career as an associate attorney with Oleg Maksymovich Law Firm in Lutsk, Ukraine. In 2003, Mr. Kosylo was admitted to the Lane Kirkland Program and received a grant from the Polish-American Fulbright Commission. Mr. Kosylo’s dissertation research examined a role of an attorney in the legal systems of Ukraine, Poland, Russia, and Belarus. In addition, Mr. Kosylo has published and lectured on legal topics related to commercial law, tax, and foreign investments in Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
Mr. Kosylo is an adjunct professor at Warsaw University. He also served as an adjunct professor at Lublin Catholic University.
Mr. Kosylo holds a J.D. and Ph.D. from Lublin University Law School and a J.D. from Volunskiy University Law School. He is bar-certified in Ukraine (certificate No 255, valid from 28.08.2003).
